so i was in the kitchen this morning enjoying my coffee and i got the urge to have a bowel movement.
by the time i got to the bathroom i had already gone in my diaper. im usually good about making it with bowel stuff but the last couple of days its been risky.
hopefully its a one time thing and because its harder for me to get to the bathroom because of my leg. but ugh. it was gross.
:(

Justj,

I sympathize with you about the bowel accident very much, having been there so many times. Cleaning up afterward is such a downer, and doubly so for you in your current situation. However, you will have a better day tomorrow. I guarantee it! :D

I've been there too. I always "try" to not use my diaper for bowel movements, but there have been times when it hits me really fast, or I'm sick, or especially right after a hemmorohid-ectomy. The few times it has happened I'm always thankful to be diapered. Can you imagine how bad it would be if we weren't diapered?

Brian is so very right. Be thankful for your diaper. Pooping in your diaper beats pooping in your pants. :D

You all may laugh, but I try to focus on the positive aspect.

JD, can't argue that logic.

Yes, me too, have had it happen, when sick, or unexpected stomach issue.
A pain to clean up, but very much better than would have been, if not in a diaper.

I do not frequently have bowel control difficulty; however, when I do, it's awful. I have learned that bowel control problems are common among folks who have GI paralysis, and the medical folks who advise us do not always know what they are talking about. Nullo and diapers make life much easier.

Sorry that happened ej, and I know it's nasty and unsettling. It happened to me a few times after I started taking the regular form of Metformin for Diabetes.
