I'm paranoid people can smell the scent of the wet wipes I use after I have changed my pad because I know I can smell it and they have a rather medical industrial smell. I use Tena Wet Wipes. Is it me just being paranoid?

I don't think you will have an issue, you could try the unsented wipes I can't stand some of the smells from the wipes so I try to get the ones with no smell

Honestly yes, it is just you being paranoid. A scented wipe is NOT strong enough to be picked up by the average person 5-10 feet away. Let alone AFTER you have used it and thrown the wipe away.

We've said it a bunch of times, and it is still worth repeating. People simply do not notice the smell or bulge of your diaper. We only notice it because we are already hyper-aware of it, and concerned other may react negatively if they notice it as well. They don't, so use the wipes and diaper as you need to.

Nah, don't worry about it. Most of us all feel the same way at first. Usually that feeling starts to go away when you've been unfortunate enough to be extremely noticeable (usually by accident or from a wardrobe malfunction). When this happens yet the people around you still don't notice, that's when you start realizing they also don't notice the usual stuff either.

I would have to agree with matt, I don't use Tena wipes so I can t really comment on the smell of them, but I would rather smell clean, than like pee.

Switch to an unscented baby wipe, problem solved. The Tena wipes do have an odor for sure! Puffy

Keep in mind most of the better brands are specifically formulated to help neutralize or mask the smell of pee or poop. Switching to unscented could actually leave you smelling even more.

Overall though I'd say don't be too worried of others smelling you (wipes or not), unless it is a very powerful smell that is.

I just use the wipes sold in the baby section, the Wal-Mart Brand.... Never even occurred to me to be paranoid... until now. :o
