Hey all. I'm off to see my family today in Colorado for the holidays. Traveling with diapers always makes me nervous. I packed 4 in my backpack and I have 10 in my suitcase and ordered a half of a case to be sent to my parents house (they should arrive today)
My sister and parents know of my incontinence but my brother and his family do not and I plan to keep it that way. He's pretty judgemental. I'll be staying at my sisters tonight and we are all going to see star wars (!!!!!) tomorrow. At least I won't have to miss any of the movie by getting up and going to the bathroom. :)

I'm trying to figure out how to hide everything from my brother when we go to my patents cabin. Hopefully I'll get my own room for privacy.

Things are going pretty well. There is a New theory that I damaged something when I fell and broke my leg. I'll be seeing a neurologist and a new urologist when I get back.

justej,

Enjoy yourself, and best of luck with that brother. Incontinence is not a subject to justify any feelings of superiority by the members of the continent community. Incontinence is only a back injury away from any of them.

Report in when you return.

Best of luck in your travels!! I know how much anxiety traveling causes ever since my bladder issues required me to start wearing diapers 24/7 nearly 2 years ago. I usually have to use Foley catheter to make the experience more comfortable since as soon as I get in the car my urinary frequency goes haywire......I haven't traveled anywhere by airplane since this begun, so I can't comment on that. Anyway, once again I wish you smooth sailing and happy trails!!

My confidry leaked on my sisters couch. Ugh. Thankfully I got up early and was able to do damage control.
Not a good way to start the trip.

When you are traveling, staying at family and hotels, over protect. I always over booster my diaper and make sure you have a protective pad under you. Hang in there it will be ok.

Sorry to hear about the accident at least your sister understands your issue. Try to shake it off and enjoy the time together.

Justej,

One thing to make sure with the confi dry, and with all diapers really, but ESPECIALLY the confidry i find, since the cut is bigger than other diapers, it to make sure that you tape it so that the leg bands give a good seal around the legs with no gaps. That should eliminate leaking..unless you overwhelmed the diaper's capacity. In that case, you might want to invest in booster pads, and also wearing underwear and PUL pants over the diaper. That has saved me from getting wet pants even IF my diaper leaks.
Hope this helps!

Peace out!

Rob
