This morning after commenting on how I had come to grips with my incontinences, it happened. I walked out of the bathroom with my diaper and a towel wrapped around me, squatted down, towel fell and I am fully exposed and my 18 year old daughter see me. She burst into tears runs to my wife, is this what that surgeon did to my dad. Well as you would figure my wife and I had some explaining to do. To make a long story short, she hugged me and said she was sorry for reacting that way but it made her mad. I am glad she knows now and understand it ok that her dad wears diapers. Wow what a start to my day !!!

Your daughter sounds very mature and sorry she had to find out so abruptly about your incontinence. I am glad you have such an understanding and caring family

I have been blessed with a great family, and they have been very supportive through all of this. I will be the first to admit without them It would be a lot harder to move on with my life.

You truely have been blessed. I feel the same way. Although we have to deal with this aspect of our life, it is great when we have a supportive family. I have read many times here when families have been less than supportive. It just makes it that much harder to deal with.

Aside from being obviously embarrassed, are you relieved that the cat is finally out of the bag?
