Mlhr makes a good point. Sometimes you can be between diaper sizes and it can be difficult to get that perfect snug fit.
In such instances, wearing something stretchy over the pullup or diaper will help to keep it snugly against the body. I like wearing onsies or sports compression pants, like UnderArmour. If you use onesies, the torso-length fit is critical so that the onesie supports the weight of the sagging diaper. However, if you really want a snug feel, the very stretchy sports compression pants really do the trick.I also would note that getting a "snug" fit on a pull-up is limited by the elastic built into the mesh of the diaper. If a tabbed (taped) diaper, the breathables with a cloth-like shell will stretch and defeat that initial snug fit. Plastic shell diapers stretch much, much less.
