So, I don't normally do this but I just about ran out of diapers before getting my order in this week. I had 1 24/7 left when my order of another pack came in yesterday. That was cutting it close for me. I usually order a case when I open the last pack so I never run out or get close to running out. However, this month and next month we have extenuating circumstances. They include: 1. Since I normally pay using my FSA and my FSA ran out in June, I didn't have money set aside for more diapers and the cost had to come out of our monthly budget which is tight. Luckily, with my company being bought out and the new ownership coming in August 1, I get a whole new FSA for the rest of the year so more money set aside for diapers and such. 2. We are moving mid August and the thought of buying a case or two of diapers (since I generally wear 2 different brands on a regular basis) and carrying them up to the 3rd floor apartment just to carry them down again in less than a month does not appeal to me at all. So, I only bought one pack of each this time. The Northshore arrived on Wednesday (I still had about 5 or 6 of those) and the 24/7 arrived Thursday (I only had one of those left). So, it was a bit tighter than I usually like to get with my diaper supply. But it all worked out thanks to great shipping and order fulfillment from Northshore and XP.

I'm surprised you have accumulated a surplus of extra diapers over time and have some cloth diapers that can be used if necessary. I just read a post from another member that said they had a small supply of extra diapers they've accumulated over time from sales. I recommend keeping a small supply extra of diapers on hand for the unexpected. I live in Tucson, Arizona so we have no tornadoes; no floods;, and almost no basements to speak of in this part of the country. Having no basement also means one less place to store extra diapers (based on Schoppy recent experience not having a basement can be a good thing), but the point is having at least a weeks worth of extra diapers on hand for the unexpected is probably a good idea,...at least in my opinion.

Just my thoughts.

I still have cloth diapers on hand. And I could have used those if I ran out. I knew I was cutting it close and did it on purpose this time. But still it was close.

Thankfully, I just run to the pharmacy and get some Tena Supers, where ever they may be on sale, I don't order online often except for Molicare and Abena, which are not sold in stores around these parts. So no anxiety in running out, I always have at least 1 full bag on hand. Puffy
