So i had my procedure on friday. I stopped breathing during the procedure and they had to use a breathing tube. The doc didnt find what she was looking for so we are back to square one regarding treatment.
Because of my tightened muscles she put me on flomax which has been hell. I have a sore mouth and have been having raging, crying, mood swings. We think one of my bipolar meds has reacted with it. (I cried when cleaning the filter on my air conditoner and got dust on my mattress!)
She said after the procedure that if the flomax doesnt help that we would look into a catheter. I have been peeing more the last day or so (i went through 5 diapers last night) so i dont think its helping. :p
I talked to my mom last night and because ive been having so many medical issues as it is, that the risks of infection for a catheter ourweigh the positives and its probably better that i just continue to wear diapers.
so yea. Thats it

Sorry they didn't find anything. It could be one of your bipolar meds causing some of the incontinence issues. There is another user on this forum that found out the meds were causing his issues. Search and you should find the posts.

Best wishes.

I haven't started any new meds and none of the ones I'm on have incontinence as a side effect. We have ruled that out. My doc said there is definitely something wrong. We just have to pinpoint it.
