I hate wearing protective garments sometimes. A men's guard makes my front sweat bullets. A cloth backed brief makes me sweat a little less in the front but the rear sweats bullets. I told my wife on warm days, unless I'm wearing dress pants, I likely won't wear any protective garments at all and I'll just tolerate damp underwear.

Baby powder helps some but not a ton.

Hi gtrudeau88

You are not alone I too hate this it makes one feel wet when one is not. Diapers like Molicare Soft Super Plus help being of a breathable material however still have sweat issues. What I do to mitigate this is to go around in just my diaper and helps a lot. I was advised if this felt too embarrassing perhaps I wear a Kilt on top (this does sound odd but works) as air flow is maintained whilst hiding the diaper. I found I had both Scottish and Cornish roots and wear a short gym/games/sports skirt around the house that matches the family tartan and is great in hot weather if I am not alone.

You have my sympathy you are not alone.

In the summer I'm almost 100% wearing short pants (other than work). It helps a little but it still gets hot while working outside. I wouldn't think of letting myself get wet without proper coverings. It just goes with the territory.

I think everyone hates it when your diapers are wet and it is not just from wetting them. It seems sweat makes the whole diaper feel wet. I wear cloth diapers mostly and since my home is pretty isolated can wear just the diapers and plastic pants a lot. But cloth diapers are not always convenient I use disposable when necessary. They can really sweat. I guess it just comes with the territory and the heat. Papa

Hi, G - I haven't noticed what Depends is or isn't offering these days, but they had a shield for guys. It's a lighter-weight version of their guard. If your underwear is just getting damp and not soaked, Depend Shields might work for you and not feel as hot as a guard.

So I sweat a lot too.......my "go to" diaper for hot days is the Tena classic. I know your issues, like mine are fairly light incontinence. Usually a full diaper is overkill for me (and probably you too!!) however, I prefer a regular diaper for the security it provides. So I just use the Tena Classic on the hot days. I've found even if I'm sweaty, it tends to dry out fairly quickly. They're the best thing I've tried.

Try using Abena level 2 air plus diapers for the summer they are thinner then the Level 4's and are a bit cooler, They dont have the same capacity and you have to change more often but they are a bit cooler.
