Hi everyone, First a big thank you to everyone who provided thoughts and opinions to all my previous postings. I'm still dribbling sometimes but the amount of dribbling is definitely down since I started the herbal supplements for prostate (pygeum, stinging nettle root, saw palmetto combo from Swnason's herbs) and the Tena guards have been working well for me. They occasionally itch the thigh/pelvic border but are mostly comfortable. I do sweat in them but I can live with that. They don't work well though in boxer briefs which is a bummer but that's life. If I'm sleeping on the couch (which I soaked once and came somewhat close other times) I'll often wear a diaper to sleep. If I'm not wearing one the wife will usually bring me one. I'm using Abena Delta Form breathable small S1 which I get from Northshore. They can only hold one really good soaking (16 oz) but since I don't wet the bed too often it seems like a good choice (.85 each plus shipping). If I'm sleeping in the bed I sleep without protection since we have a disposable bedpad under the sheet and another under the mattress cover. I sleep less on the couch than i used to, now that my wife has been propping herself up in bed which reduces her snoring. Someone in another post asked if there are any cloth-like briefs that don't suck. I will have to say that the taping system on the Delta briefs is fantastic and better than that of the Abr-form. The tapes hold fantastically and don't slip much at all. Might be a while till I post again as I really don't have much else to report and don't expect any changes in the coming months. I'll check back though and see if anyone replies to this post. G |

Hi, G. I'm glad to hear that the combination of herbal supplements, Tena guards and Delta Form diapers is working well for you! I also use bed pads (washable at home and disposable for travel) along with Abena Abri-Flex pull-ups. Have a great summer - It looks like you're on track for a fabulous one. Wetters |

Thanks for the update gtrudeau88, nice to hear how things are for our members, be it good or bad. A post that your troubles were solved would have been better, but good to hear from you none the less! ![]() |

Thanks Puffy. Yeah I wish everything was solved in its entirety but I can't complain. Some days the dribbling is so minimal that I don't need a pad at all. Other days the dribbling is more severe and I need the pad. The herbal supplements do seem to help in a lot of ways such as less dribbling, much stronger urine flow, etc. The sleeping issue annoys me more than the dribbling. I hardly ever wet the bed (one every 6 months?) but I do wake up needing to go, especially if I've had wine or beer that night and once up, getting back to sleep isn't easy. I often distrust my bladder and my apprehensiveness causes me more angst than actually wetting. Because I wet the couch that one time, my wife is leery of me sleeping on it without a diaper even though my track record isn't all bad. In our bed, she's more willing to cut me slack and won't ask me to wear the diaper. The couch is owned by Grandma (who lives with us) so that's why. She's quite alright with just a bed pad under the sheet. |
