Looks like I will be getting a round of antibiotics for a ear and sinus infection and maybe also the flu. The last time I had antibiotics I got a yeast rash. I hear the is a common side effect from them. Besides switching back to disposables, is there anything I can do to keep from getting a full out rash again? Is there a antibiotic that won't cause this?

I too have occasionally gotten a rash in the diaper area when I was taking an antibiotic. I have never been sure whether the rash was caused by yeast or a fungus. In any case, I've found that treating the rash with any one of several over-the-counter products that are made for athlete's foot is very effective.
