Thank You both.....I am a nervous wreck, bordering on absolute panic about the whole thing. Worst case scenario is that they paralyze me and I can't ever go back to work.....which is the only thing I know how to do........furthermore, I have to trust complete strangers and be "out of control"
In our line of work, were always in control and we don't like having to rely on others......plus, someone other than my wife has to cath me which really freaks me out.......

Add my prayera to the list. I am sure it will go well and hopefully it will solve everything.

Still wondering about putting myself through all of this. Much of what I have read about this surgical procedure is that it most often cures any neurological deficits. But I do not have any neurological deficits, I only have bladder problems. Some things I have read say that they have a good luck with fixing bladder issues other thing say that once bladder issues are caused by this they are usually there to stay and thus incurable. So I am nervous about it because it could all be for nothing......so I guess I really won't know for sure till after all this is over with....

Even if it is all for nothing, at least you will have a) tried, and b) potentially stopped anything worse from happening later. Diapers and catheters are at least livable
