Not much to report. This months visit saw me discontinue using using Myrbetrig. While this did calm some of my bladder urges, it did nothing for my multiple nighttime waking to urinate. So the urologist has decided that I need to continue to reduce my liquid intake. I need to keep my liquid intake under 2.5 liters a day. And no coffee, tea or other caffeinated drinks after noon. And no liquids after dinner.(Boring...). I continue to drip off and on. I am dealing with that as well as I can. It was also suggested that I talk to my GP about a mild duritic in the early afternoon to remove excess water from my system before bed. Maybe that will keep my from waking at least once during the night.
On with the next...

that would not work for me. A lot of times I feel the need to drink alot. I am not diabetic, but always feel I need a drink. The other thing is I have read to help with the odor was to drink a lot of water. Seems counter productive. I'm going to see the doc tomorrow and I'm sure we are going to talk about the previous meds making me tired all the time and I had to stop taking them. The doc mention botox one time. After researching it I am not sure I want to do that between having to cath for awhile afterwards and just over all having an uneasy feeling about it.

The actual part of drinking less is not as tough as I expected... I was drinking somewhere around 3.5 to 4 liters a day.
Last month the urologist wanted my to limit fluid intake to 2.5 liters. There were some days I actually managed to do that. So the goal now is under 2.5 liters. So far so good. Yesterday, about 2.3 liters. Today about 2.1 liters. But I am only two days in. And my daytime dripping continues. And last night I was up 3 times. Maybe I will do better tonight.

Later,

Scott

Sometimes it is a question of timing of drinking. I drink a 500ml tea in the afternoon, 250ml with dinner around 1900hrs and then a 250ml hot drink at bedtime. I feel a bit thirsty in that time but I manage to last a whole night.

Earlier in the day a drink quite a lot but, for course, that gets peed out earlier.
