Any time you form an online community, eventually people start to become friends, and want to have discussions other than the topic at hand.

That is what the General Discussion board is for...
Just about every forum I have been on, including all mine, have a General Discussion board which is always for off-topic discussions.

Which, is why I posted this topic in this board.

Just working - it's still morning here on the West Coast. Not having a great day today. Wet nights always transition into a bad day for me, even when the bed is dry (the bed pad got wet, though). I'm guessing it's the sleep disruption, and it was hot last night so it was hard to sleep anyway.

Not much going on here.

My garden produced 17 Jack O' Lantern pumpkins this year; critters got 2 of them, and I've harvested 6 so far, with 11 more to go. I have also begun harvesting potatoes, with about 1/4 bushel so far. My book is up to 125 pages, with another 200 to go. I would like to be up to 200 pages by Thanksgiving.

I need to break a day free to put my garden to bed for the winter. All that spading is hard work, but it's good exercise too.

I just had my annual wellness exam with my family physician. She said that I seemed to have all my medical issues under control, and she wished that her other patients were as effective in managing their medical issues. I took that as a compliment, then I went home and harvested more potatoes. Gardening and this site are my therapy.

This fternoon I am doing laundry. Yay. (please read with dripping sarcasm)
