Though I think it is easy to become angry at the recent blowout on the PANTZ thread, I feel I have to ring in here.
Right on this board, in the "primer" area, the pictures are quite fetish related. 4 inch thick diapers and baby prints in the "howto" suspenders pictures. How can one not wonder if it is not a veiled fetish site?
I registered here several years ago and was "cruised" for pictures within a few hours. That ended my tenure.
While being angry about how the poster made his/her point, perhaps the point itself should not be missed.
There are several members here who say they are not ABDL, but on other sites, they say the opposite. Some don't even change their screenames.
Again, the guy made his point like a jerk, but his points seem spot on to me in many respects.
I do not know the answer to this, but I must say, it makes me very uncomfortable.
Makes it very hard to make a friendship when you wonder if the guy gets turned on by your disability.

PS, it is kind of strange that this forum does not have a very full off-topic section.

I cannot imagine running this board. Kudos to the owner. I would be pulling my hair out.

Um......I'm pretty sure this isn't a "veiled fetish site" just sayin' there's a few folks I've seen on here express their support for people in the AB/DL lifestyle, and a guy somewhere that said he was dating a girl that was AB/DL.........I am not sure I have even seen anybody admit to being in the lifestyle on here......if this WERE in, fact a "veiled fetish site" I would expect to read more about people engaging in that fetish......I usually just read about people gathering support from one and other and offering advice, tips, and suggestions........even some product advice.......

If I'm not mistaken, and I run 12 forums of my own, all with a General Discussion board, that IS what General Discussion board is for.

That is about as off-topic of incontinence as should be found on a forum like this. ;)

Hello Freedom(or should I call you by another name?),

I would have to respectfully disagree with you on the points you made in your post. The diaper being used in the photo was a bit thick but no where near "4 inches" thick. I think the post was to illustrate how well the suspender brief can support a thicker diaper. As for the "baby prints" again, I have to disagree. The person wearing the brief is wearing an orange cover over the diaper but under the makeshift brief. The print you are referring to looks like a plastic or vinyl tablecloth. If you look at the first picture it is kind of shiny as if to be one of those easy to clean table cloths.

I too have noticed other people on other forums with similar screen names or even the very same name. But even those people have the respect to remember that this is a "support forum" where people come to get information, ideas for different options and emotional support for something that is very stressful and taxing to them emotionally. As soon as a member post something that is questionable or flat out crosses a line, we deal with it and move on. If this SUPPORT GROUP comes off as being a fetish group, then move on to another site that fits your needs better. If you are looking for a forum where you can openly post about the fetish life, again, this is not the group for you. I don't understand why all this energy to rundown something you don't like or you feel is a farce.

Freedom, welcome aboard... interesting that you just registered today, and jumped right onto that thread...

IF you look at those pictures, as I just did, it would be notable to see that it is NOT a 4 " thick diaper with "baby prints" as you state, but in fact is a sewing table or Ironing board covered with that print on it that the person making the suspender set up is working off, not the actual diaper. So what, it's a sewing table? The end product is nothing of the style you describe, but a plain white pair of underwear converted to a suspender set up for support. Quite a difference from what you saw being made in those pictures. Do you see the end result being a baby print diaper, NO you do not, so you should look before you leap in regards to putting out a statement like that.
As for what you stated with your previous membership/registration, I have been here for 4+ years, and have NEVER been asked by anyone for pictures. IF I had been, it would have been reported to a Mod, or Admin staff, and that person would be punted off this site immediately, plain and simple. When it happened, did you bother to report it to anyone, could have dealt with the problem right then and there, as with Schoppy at the helm of this site, I doubt it would have been treated any differently then as it would be treated today, were it to occur now. I have been involved for over a year as a Moderator for Schoppy, and have never heard anyone complain or state that they were approached in that manner for pictures or anything else innapropriate. There is NO shenanigans allowed on this forum, it is straight-up medical issues and advice on dealing with them sucessully, and nothing more. Many folks starting or having problems with this area of life, and looking for advice or support, not pictures... sorry, I don't buy it.
As far as members being registered on here, and being involved in "other" sites, that is just fine, whatever gets you thru in life, just do NOT try and talk about any part of it on here, pretty simple, doesn't matter if is ABDL or ANY other kink topic. So what if you like funky prints or ruffled Rumba diaper covers or even snap-crotch diaper shirts, WONDERFUL, whatever helps to spice up or help you to deal with a miserable to begin with condition, it's not like they are out in the street running around like that for the world to see, it makes it a bit more tolerable for them and helps them smile about it, then that's cool.
In regards to an off-topic section, that is a whole nother can of worms that I don't thing really needs to be here. If anyone wants to chat about anything like that, they can Private Message whoever they like to talk to, and discuss whatever they want, within reason of course as long as it is not inappropriate behavior that could be reported and have their account deleted. Putting it simple, it is a support site for Incontinence issues, not a chat site for anything else, there are plenty of those on the Internet as it is, if that is what people are looking for, they won't find it here, sorry. So, all in all, in the 4 years as a registered user, and longer that even that lurker that never had the nerve to actually join, this is BAR NONE, the BEST support site online I have found, and I looked ant plenty, believe me. No longer do I feel like I am alone, or the only person that has this type of problem, and never once has anyone embarrassed me or asked for anything other then advice or offered support, so as far as it being a "veiled ABDL" site, you are totally incorrect about that statement, it is nothing that is discussed on this forum in the past, nor will it be in the future. Puffy

That was a great reply Puffy, a lot better than I could have said.

Thanks

Holy cow Freedom! Post #1 and on the attack! Since I've been around here for the last several years I've never seen anybody do that. I commend you for your fine introduction & willingness to gain respect from the others on this forum.
