Hello,
I'm a new member to this board and I'm looking forward to getting to know you all. I had just started to post and share some of my experiences at another site when the changes they made to their forum turned me away and persuaded me to look for other alternatives. I'm very happy to have found this board. It looks like several of the posters from "that other site" are here as well as I recognize several of the user names.
At any rate, I've reached the point in my own developmental process where sharing my condition and my experiences with others has become extremely important and the anxiety/worry of people finding out my deep dark secret is beginning to fade. Not that I'm planning on getting a tattoo on my forehead that reads "I'm in incontinent! Wh-hoo!"
, but I've recently shared my condition with my boss and a co-worker who's a good friend and these were both entirely positive experiences. I finally feel like I'm starting to come out of my shell and allowing me to not make such a big deal over this condition.So, "Hi there!" and I look forward to interacting with the board.

(to which I totally agree) made that site totally unusable. I was just starting to open up to people both in person and on-line and then I felt like I took 20 steps backward again when every thing changed and posts/threads disappeared. I was riding the coat tails of the bravery I was seeing in others and even though I only sent out a few posts, it was starting to help and then BOOM!
