and it went away don't know why don't know how. not the point. the point is it's back and as far as i can tell it's stress incontinence and i'm frustrated i have a cough so i keep coughing and emptying most of my bladder into my pants. I live with 6 other people at the moment so I'm embarrassed to buy incon pads so i'm trying maxi pads probably won't work. I ended up peeing myself pretty badly twice today, but that's because i didn't go to the bathroom often enough and had too many liquids in a short amount of time. one was walking back from the bus stop i couldn't stop coughing and felt it go down my leg luckily i was wearing a skirt, and though no one could tell what happened the built in slip had a wet spot on it. I got home was thirsty so, like an idiot i drank a glass of water and a cherry coke ended up rewetting myself to the point some got in my shoe. I'm now going to the bathroom every hour, just so if i do leak it won't be huge. I'm making a doctors appointment monday and hopefully there will be at least a temporary solution that is neither pads nor diapers. now the tricky part is since i'm under my mom's insurance and she'll get the bill, i just hope there's a way to bill her without saying exactly what the tests are. i feel like crying. I'm too young i'm only 26

Buy some in con pads for yourself. Has to be less embarrassing than wetting yourself. And go to the doctor. That is a must do.

I'm going in for a chest xray and will bring up my incontinence then. I live with non family members so I've been making due with two overnight maxi pads and been changing them about every five hours.

went to the doctor and was basically dismissed and given a pamphlet. but I also went for a cough and was referred to a pulmonologist so I'll bring it up there. I did get some poise pads

Your family may be more supportive than you think. I decided I'd rather wake up in a wet diaper than a wet bed so that's what I do.

See a urologist for sure. But don't be surprised if there isn't much they can do. You may have to accept that you have a slight issue, and get on with doing the best you can with it.
