In July I had a 1.2 PSA Now my PSA is 7.8. The urologist said he could repeat the PSa, But , after doing the finger exam he said he felt a lump. So I have a biopsy scheduled.
What I would like to know how many of you have gone thru this??
For you guys that haven't had their PSA Checked in a while, DO IT!!!!

Sorry to hear that Dan, let us know how the biopsy turns out when you get the info. I had mine checked last year, but try and get it looked at, so to speak, every other year... Puffy

Sorry to hear this Dan... I first read that you did not have, sorry for the mis-post... Hope you can get some treatment that is best for your case. I had a friend at work that just went through all this and he is clear of it now, so keep your head up, Puffy

Up Date!
February 22 I had my prostate removed by the Da-Vinci robotic System. My Urologist was very pleased how well it went. He also said my prostate was fragile. I had a TURP done years ago.
I spent the weekend in the Hospital. I got home yesterday-Sunday.
II,m doing well. My pain is minimal and I'm eating well. Now the best part, I'm cancer free!

I am 5 days past and I am doing quite well. I know I will have Stress incontinent as well as the Urge I already have. My Urologist is not sure how much worse I will be. The prostate has one sphincter in it which I didn't know about. So the only thing I have to hold back flow is the main sphincter. And mine malfunctions anyway!
