Hi Drew

it takes time to accept the need for diapers for some its a shorter time but for others it takes a little longer. Being diapered 24/7 has not impacted my life as far as what I can an can not do (just swimming) but I have never really liked swiming so no real loss there :)

We all hope that one day they will come up with a solution that is 100% effective and our diapers will become a thing of the past, but untill that happens we have to carry on with our lives even if it means wearing diapers for the rest of it.

I feel down and blue about my incontinent issues and having to wear diapers once in a while, but when that happens I remind my self that its not the worst medical issue to deal with.

Hopefully your doctor will find the right medicaltion that will help you deal with your IC issue that has no side effects, but if none can be found try not to feel down and worry about being diapered but
remember you are not alone in dealing with diapers we are all here to help and support each other.
