Good morning everyone,

Had a few ask how things were going so I thought I would give an up date. Shoulder is healing well. Totally out of the sling and just started strangth training with the physical therapist. Just now to the point where it's more tight muscle tightness stopping me then pain.
I can change myself however I'm still having to strain to reach my left hip with the right hand. Best news as far as the changing is I can finally put on a cloth diaper again. I gave myself an extra week because I had a small quarter sized rash pop up on my hip and didn't want to take a chance of it being a yeast type rash and then having to strip all my cloth again so I just put it off a bit. I'm planning on changing back to cloth by the end of the week.
I should be back to work by mid August, so wish me luck.

Rope,

Good to hear that you are out of the sling. Be careful reaching across to your left hip. I strained too hard and actually set back my progress that way.

Good luck in switching back to a real diaper (cloth). :)

I was glad to read that your recovery is coming along without incident. I presume that you no longer need caregiver assistance. Looking back, can you give the rest of us some reflections on your experience?

Thanks, PB&J. I'm happy to see posts from you, too. Please send me a pm (or an e-mail message, if you prefer) and let me know what's been happening with you.
