I mentioned these Tena Pull-ups in my earlier post and I thought some of you might want to see what is available now in a Men's printed pull-up.
As mentioned by many of us if they made something like this (or hopefully even better looking) in a premium quality tape-up diaper I'd be the first in line to buy them.
Unfortunately the capacity of these is such that it's definitely a one-and-done pull-up.

Wasn't there a Rep from North Shore Med on here a while ago? They are a big supplier of diapers including Crinklz's printed diapers. If he is still around why can't the Mods approach him about all of this? He, the company, might be a voice that would be heard. I know they do not manufacture diapers but the have their own line of diapers made by someone which means they have a lot of say over everything including the look. If we still have that contact let's use it. I just can't believe that none of the diaper companies would not at least try making what we want. We are a small group yes but we could change the (diaper) world for so many. We can't be the only diaper wearers who feel this way.

Papa:
I believe you're thinking of Adam from Northshore Care Supply. He is always very helpful and responsive to our needs and would definitely be someone that might be able to help get one of the diaper manufacturers to make a premium tape-up style diaper with a "grown-up" print/pattern of some kind.
I would think that there are a lot more incontinent people out there than AB/DL's and therefore are going to use a lot more diapers than the non-IC's. Therefore it should be a much bigger market. However the downside may be that since the IC crowd is using for need they may be much more cost conscious than the non-IC group. This would mean that the diaper manufacturers couldn't charge as much and might not make enough on each diaper to make it profitable.
All of this is pure conjecture on my part but it would be great if Adam could comment on this subject.

Then someone should contact him. Since i wear cloth diapers about 75% of the time I do have a lot more choices in color, prints and style. Though many are babyish a lot of PUL AIO diapers have many colors, styles, Themes like Christmas, etc. But the times i have to use disposables (Away, trips, etc) I cringe at the nursing home look. It will be interesting to see what the man from North Shore has to say.
Who will contact him? Papa

I sent adam a pm with a link to this thread. That would be awesome to have non institutional yet non baby printed diapers.

The diaper companies will read a thread like this and a light will go off and they will say, "If people are buying diapers in cute prints and want something other than the nursing home look or hospital look or the 'old' person look... eureka ! Maybe they would like normal looking prints or stripes, etc. like they used to have on their former underwear!!!" The first one to do so will make a killing. Who here would stick with the look we have now with choices beyond teddy bears and blocks and such? And do we need wetness indicators?? Really??? I think we know when our diapers are wet. One day maybe... soon I hope. Papa
Here at NorthShore Care Supply, we've been working on adding a bunch of more fashionable options to our catalog, especially for briefs. The Crinklz patterns were the first to launch and are quite popular. Only about 50% are purchased by those in ABDL community, so many others are happy to have a non-medical option. We hope to have some more options available later this year and even more next year. It's a long process to get them made just right for us. We hope it will help many people add dignity to their incontinence and feel a little less like a patient all the time. Of course, white will still be an option for those that prefer plain white.

Thanks for the response Adam. Anything you can do for us along these lines would be greatly appreciated and I suspect well supported by our IC community.

Believe me...your feedback on these forums is invaluable in assisting us to try and get "buy-in" for making these kinds of changes. Thank you so much for sharing! We are making good progress behind the scenes. It will likely be a 3 to 5 year process to transition most, if not all, of our top selling briefs and pullons over to newer more fashionable styles for men and women. We'll start having some more new products to announce later this year if all goes as planned.

I'm tired of the try fail process of finding a diaper that will keep me dry. Luckily the northshore supremes do that. I've been dealing with this 4 years now and if northshore changes this diaper I'm gonna be pissed. I would LOVE a diaper that doesn't make me look like I just rolled out of the nursing home. The crinklez are too expensive. 2 cases of the supremes costs me $136 a month. If I were to switch one of those cases with a case of crinklez it shoots up to $180. I'll stick with what I've got for now. If someone comes up with an adult print at a decent price then I'll consider the switch. Sorry this ended up kinda ranty
