I agree with what Papa says. I too think the market is greatly leaned in support of incontinent people. I think its easy enough to just shop at internet suppliers that are not overrun by the ab/dl types. I shop at Gabby's for swim diapers, and Xpmedical for diapers and concealers. I tend to stay away from the ab/dl suppliers. I don't even like looking at their websites. I understand where your coming from Maria. But I don't think its as bad as you think.

I did run across a plastic pant that has a definite texture on both sides - the Plastic Silk from Protex.

I agree with you - there's no way to tell from the photos on most websites whether a plastic is textured or smooth. Sometimes you can see reflections that indicate that the item is smooth.

I think AB/DL people are generally buying a whole service rather than just a diaper. For us it's a case of whether it does the job or not for AB/DL it's about whether it excites people, reminds them of things or fits within the whole story/role they're trying to create. Very clever work there.

I'm from the UK and can honestly say that all the websites I've used have not had a hint of AB/DL to them. Sure, they probably make up some of their clientel but it's certainly not mentioned.

What I found interesting though is that when I started looking up reusables that's when the AB/DL stuff started coming up. Also when I looked on ebay.

I too found that the suppliers that sell cloth diapers are more likely to be aimed at the ab/dl's. I have not had that issue with the disposable suppliers. I think this was especially true for the suppliers that sold plastic pants. I have two pair of suprema's from when I was trying out cloth diapers. They looked silly and I looked silly in them. I found that the cloth diaper suppliers were more inclined to have websites with cute little designs and such. I'm not into such things but I do need supplies. I gave up on cloth. Too much work and went with disposables. So much easier and I order from XPmedical. Nothing babyish going on there. Very professional site.

I have been using SecureX products from Bambino for quite some time now. They openly cater to the abdl people. One look at the website and there is no doubt. Either way the product works very well for me and I have not had any problems with them. I've not had a reason to talk to them and the shipping is free. Depending on which day I order I usually get the order within 5 days. But ordering online keeps a safe distance from a fetish I care not to be involved in. If I had to walk into a Bambino store well let's just say I'd go somewhere else.

Don, If no internet where would you go to buy diapers? Local CVS? Drug store? Supermarket? Push around a cart of diapers stop and talk to friends as they stare into the cart? I would choose the Bambino store where I would guess I would not see anyone i knew. Without the internet I am not sure how I would handle buying diapers. Papa

Also, I mentioned this in another discussion, but we can rag on the DL fetish all we want but personally if i had two things to wish for and only one could come true i would wish to be "normal" again and if that couldn't be then to be a DL. How great it would be to wake up in wet diapers and love it, to get excited when I got diapered in the morning, noon, etc. How do you become a DL? I know i am ranting...just one of those days but I at times have reached my limit of endurance. Papa

Sandy,
I feel like that whenever I wear my thick cloth diapers and my red or blue suprema plastic pants. The plastic pants are huge and I look silly in them. I feel like I look rediculous in them.

I'm not ashamed about wearing a cloth diaper at night with any color or type of plastic pants. My wife prefers me to wear white only, but I like to shake it up a bit and wear something different.
I probably do look silly with a thick diaper on, but only my wife sees me. If I have to visit a doctor, I'll wear something pretty conservative. It's always a disposable diaper, though.
You wear what you feel good in. I don't think colors or prints will make you a DL or an AB. A little fun makes tolerating incontinece a little easier.
Just my thoughts.......Paul Martin
