second opinion i have seen quite a few surgeons over the months and after 3 ct scans they feel the dv at this stage can be managed.

what they aren't happy with is what the last scan showed, a abdomen mass.

well talk about fast as i only saw the surgeon just over a week ago and my hospital appointment has come through for the ct colonoscopy. over here when it comes to anything like possible cancer then they do a fast track.

with only a short time to go for the scan my nerves are jingling worry is knowing that this procedure can burst the bowel so praying to god that this doesn't happen, at least the operating theatres aren't so far away if that happens.

i will be talking to my own doctor this Tuesday to talk over the procedure mainly the safety aspects.

oh well praying now that things go okay and that they find out what this abdomen mass is.

Add my best wishes for a speedy recovery. That the diverticulosis (-itis) can be managed with medication and diet must be reassuring indeed. The abdominal mass, however, is another story. Keep us informed.

well got my supply of the tena active fit diapers seems for me that is the best system and at least they don't drop down unlike the tena slip cloth backed which i get for free, i tried to get the active fit but they won't supply them, for the price i am not really bothered about buying my own.

i have to agree that plastic backed diapers do seem the best overall just a pity that the manufacturers can't see this surely with people reporting issues with the cloth backed ones they would come up with a remedy but nope it has all got to be about how much they can make while making out the are saving the planet from plastic.

wait till they aim at plastic pants use wonder what they will use then? paper bags with cut out leg holes no doubt
