I haven't been to the Tena site in years, so maybe I'm out of the loop. I tried Tena Ultimates before I had my stroke and my daytime urge incon got much worse and a pad was no longer sufficient. They were rigid and bulky. I have a desk job, and I felt like I was sitting on a 2 x 4. Hopefully other women complained and Tena has redesigned them to be more comfortable.

Wetters, the Ultimates sound awful based on your description. I am waiting for the order to ship and then I'll update on their comfort and protection level!

Update: I have the Tena Ultimates now and I have to say, like Goldilocks, they are "just right." They are somewhere in between the size of Tena Regular Heavy/Always Discreet Maximum Long and NorthShore DynaDry Supreme pads. I haven't had a leak so far (I rarely leak) but they seem like they will really hold up. Wetters, maybe they redesigned the Ultimates b/c they are not like wearing a 2x4 anymore. I find the DynaDry like 2x4s - way too bulky for my needs and I was constantly aware of them b/w my legs. They were shaped like a diaper. I mean I would consider DynaDry if my leaking progresses a lot but currently they are just overkill.

NorthShore should really consider designing a smaller DynaDry pad for petite people with urge incontinence.

Now that I found a product I like, I hope they do not change the Tena Ultimates. I'm currently wearing them with tights and a fitted dress and they are completely discreet. Very happy I found these!

I went to the Tena site and couldn't find Ultimates anywhere - just some varieties of Intimates. Maybe Tena doesn't make Ultimates anymore - the Ultimates I remember from years ago were like gunboats.
