im thinking bad batch because i just put one on and its fine.
brian - the tapes were actually ripping after i put if on. like off the diaper.
i cant imagine id need an XL. that just seems like it would be too big.
ive worn a large in every other diaper (including a+ the last time i wore them) since ive started wearing over a year ago.
ill call gary and see what he says.

Aahhhh, yup. That has GOT to be a bad batch. Only when the adhesive or manufacturing is bad do the tabs rip clean off of the wings of the diaper. I'd also recommend you contact Gary and have all of your diapers (ordered at the same time) replaced. He is awesome about it, so you should be able to get new ones pretty quick.

That has happened to me before. I got a case and there was something wrong with all of them. For sure let them know they have a problem.

Gary and XP Med have a good reputation for standing behind their products. They typically do the right thing and replace damaged products when other suppliers probably would not. That is why I recommend them as my preferred source for diapers.

i havent had any problems with any of the diapers in the case. just put a fresh one on and no problems.
i love dealing with gary and xp. its the only place im ordering from now on.
gary himself answered the phone when i called, was super helpful, and said my replacement pack would be out tomorrow (i called late friday afternoon)
i have seriously never dealt with a better company. i wish the a+ were covered under my health insurance. id rather have to scrape a few pennies and skip out on a few things a month to get them rather than deal with the crap my insurance pays for, though.

i just placed an order for some xl's.
ive been struggling with putting my diaper on (they do stay on though) but the tapes are at my sides and i really have to pull to get them taped. i guess ive gained a few more pounds than i thought. hopefully the larger size will work.

What gets me is the sizing of diapers is very inconsistent. If you buy one size in a pair of jeans from one manufacturer, you can reasonably expect that same size will (closely) fit from another manufacturer. That is not the case we get though, and it can be very frustrating.

I've had too many times where I had to toss out a near full bag of diapers because they wouldn't fit even close to right. The good thing is if the xl's are a little too big you might still be able to use them by folding the wings back (or cutting them back), and use duck tape to put them on. It doesn't always work though, so be prepared for that outcome too.

I've tried that too. It doesn't work any more than getting upset.
