I can relate to this...

I had 2 mortifying incidences this summer. For those of you who don't know, I deal with urinary issues daily, so im pretty much used to dealing with that. But, once in a great while, and I'm not 100% clear on the cause of this, but if i had to guess its overflow from constipation, my bowels misbehave leaving me with a mess down there. That happened to me on the night of closing banquet 2 hours before i was suppsed to get dressed adn ready. I was too mortifed to move for several minutes. I'm like, oh crap (yes, i know..but pun not intended) what do I do? But I got through it.. I ended up throwing away a washable underpad which got soiled after cleanup. I did'nt have ready access to a private shower..or wipes at the time, so i had to use toilet paper.. and that aggravated some hemmroids i had.. ouch!

The second time, I overestimated how long i could wear a confidry and noticed a wet spot on the back of my jeans. Thankfully, no one said anyhting to me. Also, once i walked out of my cabin without snapping my onesie.. and it was showing in the back.. a couple of teens saw it... and giggled..but nothing was said to me directy.. not much I can do about htat except just make sure im snapped before i leave from now on :). I am open to considering alternate management strategies as well as possibly doing some biofeedback in a LIMITED fashion to reduce these instances..

Peace out!

Rob

Rob,

I'm sorry to read about your recent accidents :( . As we share some of the same problems, I think I understand how you feel.

Re the overflow diarrhea from the constipation, enemas are very highly effective. If there is no stool in the colon, you cannot have an accident. You may not want to do that every day (as I do), however, a saline or soapsuds enema prior to an important event will prevent such accidents and give you peace of mind. :D If you want to know more, send me a PM.

Usually I wear a onesie to support my diaper. An alternative strategy is to wear sports compression pants. They not only provide support, but also help to smooth over any bulges and lines.
