Oops- your right. I missed the "Checked" in your post. Hmmm... "polyethylene glycol" powder. That shouldn't tweak the x-rays. Perhaps its the metal rod then.

I had a friend that had his luggage torn apart by TSA. He had a spot light wired to a 12v battery, and some biological equipment.

We figured they must have between checking for a bomb, with all the wires and containers and such.

In your friend's case, I definitely can understand why TSA would want to check his luggage!
