I will second everything that Ender has said. Dry 24/7 is my primary daily diaper and I wear several every day without problems! As I am double incontinent I tape the diaper snugly but not tightly. However, that is pretty snug as I want to seal in any bowel odor.

I routinely reinforce the tapes on any diaper that lacks a front plastic taping panel, including the Dry 24/7. I use Duck brand duct tape. Note that it is necessary to leave room for expansion as the diaper absorbs liquid and swells. This is why the LOWER tapes must be a little looser or less snug. I tape the upper tapes tighter or more snug.

Funny. I don't recall ever having a problem with the tapes sticking on the Dry 24/7. I have had trouble when putting it on if the blue tape folds down and sticks to itself I have a hard time separating the tapes to use the white tape. But other than that I don't have much trouble. I do have some trouble with the Northshore Care house diaper at times. Not so much with the tapes but the plastic outer lining of the diaper itself as it seems weaker than the thicker 24/7 plastic. But the Northshore is less noisy under my dress pants which I wear every day for work. So I go for the ninja diaper stealth mode over samuri diaper strength mode.

Now I want sushi.

I've had somewhat the opposite experience, @msshendo. The NorthShore Supreme is my new go-to; I've not had issues with the tapes coming undone or the plastic shell ripping, whereas I have had those issues, plus premature leaking overnight, with Dry 24/7--in size medium. I recently tried the Dry 24/7 again (the recent sale made them cheaper than NorthShore), this time in size small.

I've had no issues with the tapes, plastic shell ripping, or gapping/leaking at the leg bands with size small. Incidentally, Dry 24/7 small and NorthShore Supreme medium have nearly identical sizing and cuts, even though their respective websites say they fit different waist ranges.

I think this could be a sizing/fit issue. Everybody is shaped a little different. Even though the size ranges said I should be a medium in Dry 24/7, they did not work for me. Only the duct tape solution made them workable while I finished the case.

LOL now I want sushi, too.

Ok, i made a reply to this post before, but it got lost in cyberspace. The others that posted on here pretty much hit the nail on the head on what to do for this problem, so I don't need to belabor the point. One thing I will add though is if you are on the upper range of size, it might be best to go up a size if tape popping/ripping is a continuing problem. I had to do that with A+ level 4. When I first bought them, i bought medium, but when I noticed that without fail almost every diaper or every other diaper would have a tape rip when I put it on, I thought maybe I would try upping a size to size regular. It worked, and I still got a great seal at the legs, and great protection, for the most part. I say for the most part beccause they did leak onto the undewear i was wearing over the diaper once. I think it was after that that I decided to go with diapers that have leak guards, which lead me to wanting to use Abena X-Plus...and the rest is history. I am quite pleased with the quality of the diapers I have used so far. While i may not need the 75 oz of absorbency the product boasts, I still prefer to have a diaper that can absorb and be worn comfortably for hours without changng for those extended wear situations. I find the more absorbent a diaper is, the drier your skin feels, even if you don't use it to capacity. However, The dry 24/7 did also have excellent skin dryness..but i dont think they have as good as an acquision rate, and the tapes dont always stick when you want them to.

Peace out!

Rob
