I've been noticing how the member list was growing by leaps and bounds over the past several days. It looked like a whole lot of perverts. I appreciate you expelling those members and keeping this site legitimate.

Its hard to keep up with all the spammers and their many various ways of trying to get into the site. I have been forced to change the settings and now all requests to become a member of this forum come to me.

This will mean a delay on processing the new applications as I have to check each one out. But at least they wont be posting here. I wish there was some way to get back at the spammers. HEHE maybe we can send the spammers all of our dirty diapers.

I know you are a busy person, and I really do like this forum, but you really need to weed out your membership again. It's so frustating to see these and the websites that they are trying to promote.

Again, I know you're busy, but just check out some of the names they are using. Some are embarrasing!

Even though the menbership is going up, I just noticed over 1,000 articles have now been posted. Sandy, I believe you and I are responsible for over a quarter of them! ............Paul(keep them coming!)

Did you see the drop in members. Why do all those people sign up but never post. And how do you know who to dump and who to keep. Other then the obvious Spammer............Sandy

Its not people that keep doing the spamming, its just a computer program that automatically searches out forums like ours and automatically fills out the form. The only way that I know to stop them is to catch them online here and block their IP addy. Most are coming in from other countries.

As far as who to let in here and who to block, the info that they fill out is real easy to tell if they are legit or not. 99.9% of them are spam. When they are advertising some website that has nothing to do with incon, then they are spammers and get deleted.

Schoppy is the one who reviews this membership list. It's pretty easy to tell who the spammers are. Lots of them will list their interest as "Porn" and they have a website link that's usually tied to something in-appropriate. Pretty obvious what they're looking for. I believe real members have a legitamate name handle. Some of those given look really weired. Schoopy is back and has done a great job keeping them off. But it's a everyday thing. You'll see from 4 to a dozen every day.

I would like to see more of the real members posting, but they probably are atleast reading what is already posted or just trying to keep up with all the news that Sandy and Paul have to say! Thanks for noticing, Sandy! ......................Paul Martin

All I did was to insert a question that people have to answer when they fill out the membership form. But the spam bots cant figure it out hehehehe

All it asks is what planet do we live on, hehehehehe

But im real glad that its working.
