Wow....I had a horrific adventure today. I was headed to the bathroom using my crutches and fell. All the doors in the hallway were closed and I couldn't grab on anything to pull myself up. I tried over and over again for almost 10 hours. I was also trying very hard to get a hold of someone. Finally about an hour ago I called 911 and EMS came out. They brought a chair over and I moved my feet into a door frame and with their help pulled myself up almost sideways onto the chair. They then brought my chair over and I was able to transfer over. It was humiliating. I had wet several times and there was a big puddle on the floor under me...Which of course after a few hours got really cold. But I didn't have the strength to pull myself out. I was soiled and felt gross. It was so humiliating to have the EMS guys hands on me knowing what a mess I was. It really sucks when your body stops doing what your mind wants it to do.
I refuse to give in though. I will keep using the crutches, I will keep working full time, and will continue to do it without help!...even if it means I have to lay in cold pee every once in a while

Wow, sounds like a rather intense ordeal you went through, I also really like your attitude about it all, and the last comment made me laugh, thanks! Never give up!
