Hi Ironhorse,

I've tried the cheap store bought pull ups and they are pretty weak with elastic to hold them up. Heck they almost don't stay up when dry and light....once you wet them, the weight pulls them right down, so underpants are often necessary with the store bought variety.

But for better pull ups; the best (IMO) at one time was Medline but now I feel the Abena Abri-Flex is No 1. the Abri-Flex can be had in two absorbancy levels; plus and extra. My experience is with the extra and the elastic is strong and snug and they feel excellent and they stay put until you have really soaked them.

Find both on line (xpmedical.com) and they are both "top of the line" when it comes to pull ups!

Thank you for the advice! I sure do wish stores carried a good product. I will try the abenas and tranquility atn. I hate waiting for products though just an impatient person I guess.

I always wear regular white cotton briefs over my Abena pullups except at night. I can go without diapers most days, but if I'm going to be in for a long car ride I'll often wear them then discard them when I get where I'm going. It's quick and easy to go into a stall, pull down pants and underwear, rip the sides of the pullup and then I'm left with underwear under my pants instead of nothing.

I use Depends Real Fit Briefs over a Foley catheter.

I tried the Real Fits and have to say they're pretty good. Definitely miles ahead of regular Depends or Tenas. Comfortable, but don't hold nearly as much as my Abena pullups and they're actually just as expensive.
