Another update from XP... apparently Abena has not made a firm decision either way yet. They are weighing their options and consumer feedback. I have expressed my desire to the folks at XP that Abena keep the plastic backing... I encourage the rest of you to do the same.

I forwarded my vote to XP for Abena to keep the plastic backed diapers. If they switch their product, I'll be forced to switch brands because I can't wear the cloth back diapers. I'll have to go with molicare. I must have a plastic backed product. My skin can't handle the cloth backed diapers.

From the latest update Abena has decided to put the North American switchover on hold for a few months and reconsider. This decision has been made solely based upon consumer feedback.

So if you use Abena and don't want them to switch please make sure you tell them. Also, if you order from XP let them know as well... Gary has been campaigning hard to keep the plastic backing but he needs support.

I made sure I sent Gary my support for the plastic backed Abena products. Gary reassured me that Abena was not making any hasty decisions. He told me they were holding off on going all cloth backed at least for now. I told Gary to tell Abena that if they do go all cloth backed, they will lose my business as I cannot wear those products due to skin issues. I told Gary that I know I'm not the only one who prefers plastic backed to cloth. There are many people out there who agree with me.

I sent Gary four emails trying to get info from him. He finally called and left a message that he never go the previous messages and it was my mail servers (msn.com) fault. Now, I've sent dozens and dozens of emails in the meantime and he's the only one that didn't get the messages so I know it's not on msn's end.
Anyway, since I couldn't get an answer from him I ordered two cases of Wellness briefs at their special price.
