I agree with you people should use what protection works best for them.
I am sorry to hear about your mother and MS that is a hard disease to live with.
The two types of neuropathy I have can do almost everything MS can do both are evil diseases.

I to get UTI just about every month I guess it is something one has to live with.
My mother also suffered from a lot of UTIs and her urologist never figured out why.

As for the Foley slowing me down it doesn’t if anything I do more now than before I started to use one I don’t even know the catheter is there. After over a year with it, it just another part of living. But then I am not as active as I once was my biggest hobby now are photography of wildlife and firearms I use a wheelchair when out of the house and at the range but in the house I use crutches.

I have used condom catheter and diapers for incontinence for years but incontinence became so bad when I could not release my bladder on command causing bladder retention and spasms and a lot of pain I am like you I have little to no feeling. You are very lucky with only voiding small amounts I always voided extremely large amounts of urine.
I do use a Foley catheter but I would never wish it of anyone. It is according to my urologist a dangerous thing to use it can cause cancer renal frailer and septets not good.

Take care
Lyle
