It looks like Robert at Changing Times Diaper Company has all his stock on sale for 25% off. The stock seems a little limited. I think a number of us have ordered from him in the past. I'm trying not to read too much into this. He has been a good supplier, with quick shipping so I hope all is well with the business.

I'm afraid all is NOT well with CTDC. The owner, Robert, has announced thru e-mail that he is closing the business and the 25% off all stock is a liquidation sale, hence the limited stock still available.

Sad to see him go; he offered great products and excellent customer service; he really cared about his customers and appreciated any business that came his way. The twill / gauze prefold diapers are outstanding and I don't think we'll ever see them again for the low pricing he offered; even before the liquidation sale!

As most can imagine, running an on line business, along with a non-related full time job, along with family responsibilites can take its toll.......

I certainly offer him my best for whatever is in the future!

Hi JoeK,

There is some good news regarding CTDC....Robert has restarted the business after dealing with several personal challenges over the past year.

He is stocking the cloth twill prefolds and is filling out his line of Gary pants. He will also feature polyurethane laminate (PUL) waterproofs. The site is back up and running. I must say it is nice to see a quality vendor back in business!

Steve

I checked out CTDC. I am interested in their cloth diapers to wear at night instead of an xplus. I have trouble with the pins though. I am unable to do them myself. My wife used cloth diapers on both my children. To pin their cloth diapers together, she used a snappy diaper fastener that I also found at CTDC. I could use these instead of pins. I hated having my wife help me put the cloth diapers on and this would solve that problem. I'm glad I found this.

Pins take practice. It took me a while to master the pinning process. I'm glad that CTDC is back. I know he carried both Gary pants but also the Lang pants. I've never tried the Lang pants but I wear Gary pants daily. Does anyone out there know how sizing is for the Lang pants? Do they size similar to Gary or say Kins pants? If anyone has purchased and worn Lang plastic pants I'd like a little info on them. I'm not really looking for a different plastic pant to wear as I have been very satisfied with the Gary pants I get from ACD but I always open to try something different.

DDS, I have used the XL Lang pants from CTDC. I have a 37 inch waist and wear either the L or XL High Back Gary pants with ADC or CTDC diapers. XLs at night with double diaper. The XL Lang pants were short in the back and the elastics seemed a bit weak. They sort of worked for daytime coverage, but still were a bit short. The Lang plastic is stiffer and a bit noisier that the Gary pant. The plastic does seem like it will resist splits and wear a bit longer though.

Don, I have used the Snappy fasteners on night diapers with good success. They took some patience and practice to get right, but they are easier and quicker to use than pins. Over time they do stretch quite a bit. They still work fine and I have not had on break. I have been using them for a over a year. The CTDC twill diapers are fairly thick and absorbent. They also wear like iron and are quite soft after several washings. Pins were hard to get through them so the snappy worked well. CTDC diapers are on the square side, but still fit OK. They have a new long version in the XL now that may help with fit. I have a 37 inch waist and use the XL. The side overlap helps with side sleeping.
