A friend of mine who is also disabled and incontinent raised funds so that I can have a months worth of diapers on hand. I often run out at the end of the month and now have 2 cases of betterdry in my closet. I'm super grateful!

That is excellent news. You are fortunate to have such a good friend.

Thanks John and Patrick!
I truly am lucky. Having friends who know what it's like to be incontinent and are able to help is such a blessing. I had times where it would be a couple days before payday and I would have to sit on a chux pads because I was out of diapers. It was horrible

Happy you have a backlog of diapers!! What a wonderful friend!

All of us I am sure have had a moment where we are out of diapers and forced to deal. I had a plane delay once where I had only packed enough diapers for the amount of days I would be away. I wasn’t prepared for having to stay an extra day due to a flight cancellation and was forced to buy diapers from a drug store. I was mortified with subpar protection…:

Now, I now know there are medical supply stores I could have gone to get diapers, but it taught me to always have a backlog more than you need, especially at home, a month backup is critical. And yes, when they are expensive and you’re living paycheck to paycheck you can’t easily drop 200-250 dollars extra on supplies.

I am so happy your friend aided you to have that cushion to breath with your supplies!

Thanks Tarlton! My friend really is amazing! And your trip sounds like a nightmare! I dont travel much but I always come home with extras that I've packed in case I get stuck somewhere. Last time I visited my parents I came home with like 10 extra diapers in my suitcase.

I definitely couldn't afford a months worth of diapers on my own being on disability. Such a relief!
