Although booster pads can add more capacity, your problem is your protection's acquisition rate, and booster pads aren't any better than diapers. The only thing that has the acquisition rate you need is cloth, be it cloth pads or full up cloth diapers.

Padded: I have no problems with Northshore supremes with a booster. No leaks nothing. I still have to change after one wetting which is what makes it expensive. I just cannot do cloth. As I’ve said before I live in an apartment building where the washer and dryer are in the basement and I’m disabled. My aide washes my clothes once a week. It just wouldn’t work.
Edited to add: I’m going to try some flour sack towels next month but going full cloth isn’t feesable

That makes sense that the full cloth option isn't feasible but I think you will be amazed at how well the FST option will work. And it's so low cost that you've really got almost nothing to loose. In certain situations, like when I'm out of town and can't even do the rinse-and-hang to dry thing I simply throw the FST's out with the wet diaper. Not ideal but it is an option.
