I am about 2 years out from my prostatectomy. At this point, I have both heavy urge incontinence and some dribbling. The dribbling still occurs during the daytime and nightime. The urge incontinence is still quite bad and I only get about 5-10min to use the toilet before I start to void. When I am at home, I wear a pullon because I can usually make it to the bathroom and the pullon style is easy for me to take it on and off. I also wear a pullon at night to catch the leaks. However, I still have to wear diapers when I leave the house.

Fortunately, my nighttime incontinence has gotten better. I usually wake up if I need to use the toilet and can make it. Its frustrating that my daytime incontinence hasn't followed suit. I thought I could fully transition from diapers to pullons but I guess I can't.

Has anyone else noticed a similar pattern? Any tips?

Have you considered asking for pelvic floor physical therapy? A therapist could teach you to do Kegels properly, which might give you the increased control during the day that you need. Good luck, and report back when you can.

I think thats a good idea.
I must admit that because of Covid, I have been negligent with seeing my surgeon to tell him about my symptoms.
I will be sure to mention the idea of pelvic floor therapy
