I am looking for pul pants with higher waist.
They sell them at plastic pants.com, but they are ridiculously expensive. In my size, 3xl and with the long lasting elastics and 2 inches extra I end up at 81,70 for one. Then add shipping, tax another tax and then tax handling fee I end up at the double. That is food money for a month. I really hope they get some serious competition soon so the price goes down.
Just venting my frustration.

Adult Cloth Diaper Company sells Leakmaster PUL pants that are a good bit higher and fuller cut than the Gary PUL pants but are the same excellent quality. They also have them in regular pull-on and side-snap styles. The price is about $30 US but I don't have any idea what the shipping might be to Europe if they'll even do it.

They do ship to Europe. This easter I bought two white regular ones. In addition to the price for the diaper I paid almost 70 dollars in tax and fees.
I am just looking for some with a higher waist because of leaks during the night.
The pul pants sold here are not as good and are really expensive.

The nighttime leaks are exactly why I use the Leakmasters, they have the highest waist of any PUL pants I know of. And because of the fuller cut they are very comfortable to wear while sleeping. I also wear 3X size and these come up high enough to easily cover even my largest diapers. I think you will be impressed.

Hi Optimist,

I wear Suprima PVC brief (pull-on style) over my diaper. My size is also 3XL. They have a quite high waist. They cost around €15 ($18). I order them in Europe to avoid high shipping costs and extra taxes.
Do you live in the EU or at least within the European single market? German companies are fairly competitive.

I started using plastic pants, but after a while my skin turned red. I suspect I got a fungal infection. I then bought PUL and have not had any more skin problems. Everybody is different, so the suggested plastic pants may be to great help for someone else. I live outside eu so I have to pay tax.

Is PUL fabric available in Europe? Or would it fall under different tax/tariff schedules, coming from the US, than finished pants?
An old pair of vinyl pants would make a good cutting pattern and the elastics might be reusable for the first set.
I have been using Leakmaster PUL pants for a long while, and PUL is sure more comfortable and allows drier skin than vinyl. Plastic backed disposables were even a problem for me. Hope you can find a solution. Stan

PUL fabric is available, but I am not too confident with the sewing machine. But it is available. Check out cloth diaper stores for infants.
