I now have a routine of what works for me from month to month.

I get 4 cases of abena l4 for approximately $63 with my Medicaid.

Also once a month I am provided with chux, gloves, lotion, and wipes with barrier cream.

The great thing about the chux that I get now is they have adhesive on the back that sticks like crazy. I have a reusable bed pad that I got from northshore that is always on my bed but I like to have a chux pad on top of it and they always slide around and defeat the purpose but not these!

So glad this all worked out.

Bed pads that stay in place are a godsend. They are nearly useless when they move around and scrunch up under you. I was glad to read that you have found management that works for you; you have been through so much lately.

Thanks guys. Its definitely a relief. The bed pads have worked out well even though the padding isnt the best. The abenas are working out great. In my budget and haven't had a leak yet. I think my urologist wanted me mostly to cath to get me out of diapers. Honestly at this point I'm just gonna ride it out like I have been. One of my neighbors had to help me with all of the boxes when everything arrived because there were 6 of them. 4 cases of abena, 1 case of chux, and 2 boxes of wipes/lotion/gloves. He was like are these all of your medical supplies? Pretty much everyone knows what's in the boxes because of one loud mouth neighbor but I don't care anymore. It is what it is.
