After the fiasco of my aide leaving right after she arrived cause she was allergic to my cat, I called the agency to go over EVERYTHING so there wouldn't be any more problems. The woman at the agency said "you need help with toileting correct?" And I flat out said "I have a paralyzed neurogenic bladder and I wear diapers." Usually I would say I wear protection or something but I told myself call it what it is. Dont be ashamed. It's not your fault. 4 and a half years after my accident I have finally accepted my need for diapers. It's my life now and while its different and frustrating at times, I've accepted it.

be sure the office you are going threw for your aides do not forget about your kitty it is their job to know who can and can not be around animals i found that out too i have my puppy bella and she is very loveing and acts like i do not love on her at all even if that is not true but she can also be very stand offish to and i can use her actions to see what a new aide is going to be like and watch closer
