I've probably got a 6-8 week supply of disposables.

Also, about a weeks worth of cloth diapers before having to wash!

B Brian.. I knew you live in FL but never saw that you were in Jax, I am just in St. Aug so you are close to my emergence supply place. Preston Home Medical supplies at 6022 Atlantic Blvd sells Molicare super plus in their store so I always have a bag or two of them on hand... yea there purple but I don't give a rats butt as long as my bed stays dry. That is the place that I said that the ladys that work there almost know me by name.

Oh, I have a good medical supply store called Atkins in my area too. I've only ever had to hit them up a couple of times, and even then the last time was many years ago (at lest for diapers any ways). They carry Molis as well, and I could also care less about the purple. They are mediocre in absorbency, but at least they work when in a pinch. Still, having more stocked up at home is a better idea.

Even though I wear cloth most of the time, I try to keep a 30-day supply of disposables on hand, as I tend to go through quite a few when I do use them. My preferred disposable, the Seni Quatro, is backordered at times.

In addition to manufacturer and supplier backorders, shipping delays due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances are important considerations when deciding how much "safety stock" to keep on hand.

For me, Its imposslbe to run out..because I use cloth mainly.. however it is possible (like what happend 2 weeks ago when i was engrossed in getting CARE off the ground doing outreach and stuff) to forget to do diaper laundery and run out of wearable diapers.. even then, even if my wet bag is full i still ahve 10 or so diapers to wear, i just dont have a place to put them when wet, but a bucket or walmart bag would do. one of the HUGe advanages of cloth is that if you do laundry often enough.. you have a ready supply.

Peace out!

Rob
