It is not minor surgery. People have had major complications including death from it. I chose it to deal with my diabetes. Glad you are doing well. I went from about 340 to 180 pounds. I regained some until I was about 240. I've recently lost about 50 since my bowel issues started. Hope you've had no major complications and get to enjoy those grand kids for many years to come.
Yes... it was orthoscopic... only problem I had was when they put me back on Plavix for my heart stents, I bled... BAD... not good...
Anyway... all is well now and the weight is staying off...

Welcome back.
Congratulations on the weight loss, the diabetic control, and the neurogenic bladder management success. We need to read more such tales, because they are morale boosters, especially useful when depression sets in.

Add my welcome to the mix too, and a darn that's a lot of weight loss! I'm a fairly new member here myself, but seem to excel at stirring the pot around here- even when I don't say anything. Lol.
