I am sitting here listening to Celtic Music for St. Patrick's Day on Amazon Prime and catching up with the forum.

It always interests me to see how we all have found small variants to work best for us.

Ted, you can find diaper suspenders at several sites, one of which is below:
http://www.holdup.com/undergarment-suspenders.htm

Brian, interesting point about creams versus ointments.

Patrick, zinc oxide is good, but watch out for cornstarch powder as it can make a yeast infection worse.

I have had amazing results from extra virgin coconut oil because it contains several antifungal or antibacterial agents. Initially I read about it from the new generation of moms going back to cloth diapers for their infants and looking for cloth-friendly and green lotions and creams. However, I trust the coconut oil for urinary icon only. When I am out of the house at higher risk of fecal icon I still use the 40% zinc oxide rash cream.

I wonder what else we will be saying when July is here with truly hot weather. :(

John, thanks for the site for the suspenders! How do they hold up against hairy manliness? I'm as furry as a wilderbeast, will these things pull my hairs out and drive me bonkers?

Like you all, I dread the summer heat and since this is the first summer for me fully diapered I appreciate your advice. In the past, I simply dehydrated myself to avoid leaks and instead spent quality time in the ER till my doctor and wife ordered me to drink water and plug the leaks so to speak! :P

Porkchop,

I just read your last message. I am not as hairy as you, but I don not think that the suspenders would cause any problem with chest hair.

I am sufficiently impressed with my new diaper suspenders that I think I will start a new thread on that.

I guess the biggest challenge that summer weather forces on me is dehydration. When I dehydrate, I can always expect a rash. My therapist warned me that coffee, and to a lesser extent, tea, put the kidneys on overtime. When I work outdoors in hot weather, I need to remind myself to drink enough to keep my leakage from becoming concentrated.

Patrick, in my head I hear my drill sergeants voice in that sing songy chant saying "Drink Water." Drawn out in such a way that anyone who did time at Ft Benning would recognize..... Who knew that water had three syllables?
