I guess this is a good day in terms of dealing with my incontinence.
I've been drinking water as to not dehydrate which of course means more wetting. I've got 5 diapers with me in my bag and I'm feeling okay about having to wear them. I had an accident on the bus last night on my way home and don't want to repeat that. I'd rather be protected than walk around with wet pants. I've come to terms I think with having to wear. I can't say that this will always be the case as I'm sure I'll have bad days. I've been through one medical thing after another this last 2 years and I've survived them all. I've been incontinent for a year now and I have dealt with it so far. It's not been easy but I'm a fighter.

You should never be sorry for feeling positive.

Glad to hear you've come to terms with your incontinence though. I bet your bus accident also brought home the idea a thick diaper is less obvious than wet pants too.

Thanks Brian. And yea bulkiness definitely wins over wet pants. During my day I am able to find bathrooms to change so that's good. I don't want a repeat of yesterday (and many other days that I wasn't protected.)

Hi Justej

Glad you are coming to terms with accepting you need to wear diapers, and you are feeling positive.
Sorry you had the accident, sometimes accidents help us accept we need help keeping our pants dry.

Keep being positive :) and you can never post to much that's what support sites are for.

Positive is a great thing, accidents are never fun but, positive is. I look at it like this, I don't have to worry about long lines at the restroom's because I'm the one causing them. Now that was funny !!

Hi justej

Add my congrats on this great news when I accepted that wearing diapers was for me I felt liberated to have my life back free from the stress of finding loos, medical teams and medication. Modifying my daily routine for changes etc mean that diapers are now a friend not an enemy and allow me to have a normal life and take control of my incontinence for the first time ever. I hope you find this point soon.

Keep positive be happy and be well.
