Thsi may be a weird question. I started thinking about bladder problems being in our genetics or the fact that certain races or ethnicities may be more prone than others. For example, my friends doctor told her that asian and caucasian women have higher rates of ostioperosis, although these are not the only people who may get it. I think this is an intriguing question because noone talks about it because of the stigma. Our parents and grandparents may warn us about certain diseases and health problems that run in our families, but this one they may keep to themselves.

That's a real good question LtsofQues.
I'll bet there is something to that. I've never read any thing about certain races being more prone to this. I have read, though, women are a lot more prone to incontinence than men. I guss a lot of that is through childbirth and menopause. Then men have the ole prostate problem.
I guess people's plumbing just eventually wears out and starts to leak a little. Just my two cents worth! .........Paul Martin
