Well, I'm getting ready for a trip to Arizona to see my youngest son receive his Ph.D. diploma. :D

Right now I am going through the usual pre-trip planning to estimate how many diapers I will need, and of which types. In addition to the planned ceremony and dinners (Mothers's Day and post-graduation) there will be some unscheduled activities. I am taking mostly my very precious plastic-shell Tena Slip Maxi's as they can be worn with anything, including dress trousers, some ConfiDry Dry24/7's to wear with jeans or shorts, and some Seni Quatro's for very hot days or in case I get some pre-rash irritation. Plus a few pull-ups, booster pads in 2 sizes, disposal bags, rash cream, and extra tape. What a load! Sound familiar?

Then I have my enema gear in my travel carryon with 3 diapers (I always have a spare in case the TSA inspection destroys one). I can't afford to risk the enema gear getting lost.

My enema supplies in my checked luggage include Castile soap, sea salt, lubricants, large disposable absorbent pads, and bungee cords to hang the bag.

I'm taking a cloth diaper for wear over my disposable at night, but will have a problem if it gets wet (but better than the bed). If it gets wet I'll hang it to dry and perhaps pin a hotel towel over the disposable the next night.

Trip should go fine unless they lose my checked luggage.

Oh yeah - if there is any space I might add some clothes to wear! :D

Have a great time. Travel is easy with incontinence as long as you change before the diapers are close to capacity. Never risk it or you are asking for a leak. Enjoy and congrats to your son.
