About diapers and health assurance

I do actually go through quite a bit of the 20 bags a month, at the end of the month i usually have around 2-4 bags left, so I order more when I get that low because I can't allow myself to run out. I am doubly incontinent with no urge/feelings when I go due to nerve damage caused by my chiari malformation and syringomyelia. Which also caused nerve damage not just for bladder/bowel control but for my whole body, my left side is affected the most by numbness and weakness and not being able to sense hot or cold aswell as pain. And as for how many changes I go through a day it varies, when my bowels are active I sometimes change 7 times per day (that's including the morning/night change) that may seem like a lot but as soon as I realize I have a soiled diaper I change immediately.

Tomm88, my heart really goes out to you. I have a close friend I met on another forum who also has Chiari and is having a struggle with it. It has also caused her incontinence along with other symptoms. It is truly a very cruel condition and I hope the best for you. Is there anymore options out there for you? My friend is seeing one of the doctors at the Chiari institute in NY. She has kept me up with all she has to go through and it sounds almost endless. Best of luck to yet.
