New discovery to me!!

Since my problem developed a couple of years ago I have always searched for the best method to keep my clothes and my bed dry and the way I manage it seems to work very well with just a couple of mishaps. So as I was poking around I read on this board about Gary Manufacturing and the products they carry. Some of it is interesting and some of it is a little too far out there for my tastes. Either way I ran across these Euroflex bloomers. I started looking at the sizes annd realized how long they were. I thought about if those would help with leaks. I read the Euroflex style was resistant to petroleum products which would give more life to the product. Well I went through the measuring process they provide and ordered 3 pair. When they were delivered them and I opened them up they seemed way to big. Put them on later and the legs dropped below my knees. Well they have a no return policy on these types of products so Ifigured I would give them a try but what I did was pull the pant portion back up to about 3" below the crotch area hence creating a cuff in the pant leg. Well that night I leaked but everything was caught in the cuff and no leaks on the bed! I wanted to pass this along as if anyone else here has this problem then maybe you might consider this as some help

I have used the Gary 'leak master' high backed pants with cloth diapers for several years and have had very few leaks with this combination.

I have a 36inch waist and I find I can wear the medium through the X-large depending on how much diapering I need. You might check out the Diaper Primer on this site for hints on fitting plasitc pants and cloth diapers.

Generally during the day the med size fits well over a light cloth diaper and at night the X-large works well over a double night diaper. I have tried both the 'deluxe' heavy plastic and the lighter plastic. I have noticed the lighter plastic pant is more comfortable but tends to split at the waist side seam. At this point I generally use the 'deluxe' during the day and the light pant at night.

The bloomers seemed a little extreme so I have not tried them. I have ordered Gary Pants from both www.adultclothdiaper.com and www.changingtimesdiaperco.com .....each has good service.

Good luck finding something that works for you. We are all a little different.

That's the way a lot of them are designed to be worn. I discovered that MANY years ago when Montgomery Wards still was in business and sold the bloomers

If the legs are longer on the outside than the inside when pulled down then they fit perfectly when brought up to the crotch. The ballooned out area catches any liquid.

I keep a pair of the Euroflex ones around for when I have diarrhea. I wear them over a diaper and another pair of euroflex pants. So far no fecal leaks in the bed.

Yes, indeedy.......

Even regular plastic pants, not bloomers, do better if you tuck the leg bands UP inside your cloth diaper. For many that may mean upsizing one size so a person normally wearing large plastic pants will wear a pair of extra large and have the crotch width and side length to tuck the leg bands up under the cloth diaper....works very well....the regular plastic pants are functioning much like the bloomer ......which takes that idea to the extreme!
