Gas prices, Doctors visits and cost of living.

Like everything, prices are going up, way up. Gas in my area is over $5 a gallon and is expected to keep climbing this summer. On top of that, my car is down for repairs right now so I have been stuck driving my dad's diesel truck, ouch that hit my wallet hard. I truly am struggling with keeping my budget set because everything is so much and things just do not go as far as they use to. I was hopeful that after getting this Ileostomy my bladder issue would go down, but that has not been the case. In fact, that has gotten worse. PCP said that it was very likely going to be/stay this way.

Going to have so big hard choices this year as I get things worked out.

I've cut things down to the bare minimum. I don't have to pay for my phone because it's a government provided one. I pay $60 a month for Internet. (cheapest I could get from the one providor that serves our building. And do a lot of pay over time with stuff to stretch it out. With my insurance betterdry is $50 a case. And wipes, cream, chux etc are free. I treated myself to a real haircut on Friday. I usually shave it but I wanted something nice since my hair had grown out. It's my first real haircut by a professional in 3 years.

I am trying to cut way back so I am ready when social security gets approved as I know that I will be on a very tight budget after that. The thing is that everything I have for bills is stuff I have to have so there is not much else I can get rid of.
