Beer billboard sign, "The Sweet Spot"

Mon Feb 01, 2021 11:22 am

A few years ago I remember seeing a beer advertisement billboard (in Canada) where the sign showed a person's timeline, of the form:

Code:
Diapers...........Beer.bottle..............Diapers
>--------------(The Sweet spot)------------------>

I'd love to find an image file of that ad. I can't recall the beer brand, but if I was to guess, it would be Coors.

I'm guessing Labatts, since that's a Canadian beer. I tried looking, but the Google did not produce any results.
For many of us, the diapers never stopped. Do we get an extra long sweet spot?

We have several beer companies up here but I seem to recall it was a US brand that was advertised. My memory is slowly deteriorating also :wink: Someday all the wheels are going to fall off this wagon.

I'm sorry about those of you who missed out on the sweet spot. For me it lasted from about 2 yrs old to mid 60's (to be clear, the beer drinking didn't start at 2). I barely drink at all these days and it's been that way for a long time. From what I understand about diabetes incontinence, there will be no turning back now. But on the plus side I'm just in accident prevention mode at the moment with a few diaper suppressed accidents along the way. I have no idea how fast this diabetes nerve damage will progress. I suppose the answer is that "it Depends!"

I am however in a struggle to save my deteriorating eyesight. I have two laser eye treatments for the first time coming up this month. I have been told it can be painful (cauterizing some blood vessels at the back of the retina). That and the scheduled eye injections this month are making this a month to dread. Talk about the need for accident protection!
