I went to my primary doc a few days ago. I have been getting daily cluster headaches for about 6 months. I also fell last October and injured my neck muscles. I have been dealing with residual pain from this too. My doc asked me about stress. I said overwhelmingly yes. She felt my upper back and neck muscles and was astounded by how tight they were. She recommended seeing a massage therapist. So I left my appointment with her and booked an appointment with a local massage parlor. I’m glad I did. I wasn’t really that anxious about the incontinence portion. The office gave me a questionnaire and asked about physical limitations and illnesses they needed to be aware of. I did not give permission for the buttock. Simply back, chest, neck, and legs. I put down in the questionnaire that I suffered from neurological illness and was incontinent. They did not question it. I reaffirmed to the tech that I was incontinent and did use diapers. He informed me this was a non-issue and gave no further comment. The massage was great. It loosened up my back and neck and my neck and headache pain are better. I intend to go back in a couple weeks.

I’m glad that things went well for you. I’ve had similar good experiences with massage therapists and physiotherapists.
